Update: my effort to enjoy the beauty of everyday life. I was going to do a new post for Like Mother, Like Daughter's new weekly link-up (and actually say something), but my first thought was just to share this, and since we're pretty busy right now I'm going with it. Please say hello, and next week, I will be more communicative!

A ripe strawberry? I am so jealous! Our are still two months away (give or take a week) and I am longing for fresh fruit! Happy spring!

Actually, to the best of my knowledge, those are wild strawberries. I have been afraid to try and eat one so far! Our strawberries are flowering right now after a haphazard previous season, in which they were untended and (I think) even accidentally tilled up in places. I hope they're good this year!

My daughter took full advantage of the camera the day she took that self-portrait; I have lots of goofy shots on my computer from that shoot!
